*yawn* I'm ready to go home. We have one more performance tonight, then we're off until Tuesday. Yay. Anyways, guess I'll be heading down to Radio Shack when I get home to see about a job since I'm apparently not needed at RTF. Why the heck am I still on the mailing list if they have no intention of getting back to me to begin with? *sigh*

Other than that, not much else is new. I miss my Fluffy. I miss Johnnie too - I realized today that I haven't talked to him in quite a while - I don't even know if he got the card I sent him. It must be nice to be appreciated, I imagine. Because I don't know.

So my scene shop position is done - it was fun...now all I'm here for is to run the shows every night. I have this feeling that I'm gonna be real bored real quick.

And it would be nice to have some idea what the rest of my summer is gonna look like...freakin' bums.

So yeah, last night's performance was hell. Gotta really nice email from the director about that one.

Then, we lost power for two hours this morning for some random reason. No storm or anything. *sigh* I'm tired and ready to go home.

Also, you gotta love people that beg for help, and then when you try to, they don't want it.

Maybe the week will get better.

So I got my Religious Studies minor taken care of today. Plus I got a meeting set up with Don to discuss me possibly redesigning the department's website. That should be fun.

I'm officially done with the scene shop position tomorrow afternoon. I'll still be here for another two weeks until the shows end. I hope Lisa has some work for me!

Still waiting to hear back from RTF. *sigh*

And because I know you all care so much, I'd like to take this time to say that my toe feels a lot better today. :-)

BTW, I just found out that it DOESN'T cost me anything to have someone call me long distance - so Ed, Jeremiah, etc.: call away.

Hmn, so many 'no shit' stories of the week...

First of all, my boss had his credit card number stolen earlier this week. Get this: they had all his personal information, including the extra 3 digit security number on the back of his card. And the charges were traced to a toys-r-us ISP in Brookland. Yeah, we think it's the mafia.

Then, unfortunately, our would-be 3rd year lighting design grad student went back to Japan for good this summer. Junko, we'll miss you!

The best story is from last night, however. It's final dress rehearsal, and the stage manager's boyfriend calls and says that her dog has run away from home, and she probably won't be able to make it to rehearsal that night.
The director called her back. She made it in a few minutes later.

Then today, ugh, I dropped the tech table on my toe, and tore up a third of my toenail. It hurts. Yeah. It hurts a lot.

I think that's it...still not too sure what I'll be doing when I get back home. I guess we'll see...

ANYWAYS

I might try working at RTF again this summer - they're doing the Glass Managerie in August. I emailed Rafe to see if there were any positions left. I'm still thinking I'll get a job at Radio Shack in Salem, too - I noticed today that they're hiring, so maybe I can get some extra money this summer for that laptop, and God knows with this POS computer I really need one.

I really, really, really hope this posts with the amount of trouble I've had with it already....

Yeah so I'm REALLY lazy. I don't even know if I can even update this thing when I'm on Jeremiah's POS office mac. I guess one day I'll try and see.
So yeah, the shows are going well, lotsa fun, losta learning. Good summer stock. Again, feel free to come visit! Anyone!

Let's see, what's happened since last time I wrote...ok, well, David, Jennifer and Mark came down to see the show the other night. It was good to see them again even though I didn't get a chance to talk to them much. Also, Dana and his dad came down the last night and that was a lot of fun. Dana's dad was a Theatre major back in the day, and so he really appreciated the space and the work we did. We went to dinner, and it was an enjoyable night.
Fluffy came to visit Sunday...we went kyacking and ate dinner with his family. It's nice to have a big brother. :-) He's coming to visit again tomorrow. Yay!
I just read Dusty's livejournal, and apparently he and Juan broke up. Shows you where I've been.
And, seriously, is anyone else being bombarded by National Honory Society this and National Fraternity that? Like, if I joined all of these things I'd be entitled to wear the entire Greek alphabet... Except for APO...everyone should join APO. You know us theatre people. We throw good parties.

Anyways, all is still good at Tech. I like Theatre. But in general, I don't like work. I just want to sleep. Oh, well.
Today I didn't do much but work on stuff for Alpha Psi Omega...and watch the movie version of Les Miserables. Now I'm all emotional. *sigh*

My big thing right now though is, I temporarily put off Johnnie's birthday present that I promised him, and dang, it's this week, and I have almost nothing done. I had started on that canvas, then I went to a smaller one...last night I tried just doing a freaking card, and still I'm unsure! Argh, such is love.
But also last night, I may have found a position as a weekly writer for a kickin new teen/young womens devotional ministry. It kinda scares me to do something like that on a regular basis, but we'll see. Anyways, it's called CHOICES, and it's at www.devoted.to/choices (I think). It has a lot of potential, and I think it will work out just fine.
Fluffy! I miss you! I'm glad I got to talk to you this weekend, but I think you need to get a day off soon and come back here.
So yeah, back to packing...
