Sitting in HODAT...actually kinda interesting today, talking about Medieval Theatre, so we're listening to some pretty cool music. Fun times.

Gave my presentation in Stage Lighting Studio today, and it went really well. I'm definately gonna throw it up on my website soon so that if anyone wants to watch it they can.

Gotta give a presentation in my next class, so I better go work on that.

I've just about finished my Halloween costume. I found some Harry Potter fabric, if you can believe that, so I was able to cut out the Slytherin seal and sew it to my cloak, so it's awesome. Now all I have to do is head over to the scene shop and borrow the bandsaw to cut my wand, and I'll be all set. Fun times as a theatre major! The only way to completely fulfill your fantasies, and get credit for it. :-)

So Friday night should be great...I'll also being going to Becca's party later on that night...their theme is drag, so I'll be heading dressed as Steve with his clothes and his laminate from the summer. Should be cute. :-) Speaking of Steve, I'll be seeing him next weekend. I'll be spending Friday afternoon and evening with him while he's in Johnson City. Yay!

I'm also going to say in the first 3 days that Ryan's posted in his blog, it's a definate must read for anyone who wants to live vicariously through someone who gets to do what most of us don't have the balls to do ourselves. I hope when I graduate I'm strong enough to make choices like that.

I live in a giant bucket. (Had to say it.)

In any case, I've got more work to do...off to the apartment...

I got 17 hours of sleep last night! Yay!

Zerega called me the other night! It was cool to hear from him. He's doing really well. Then Ryan just emailed, so I'm putting his weblog up on the left. :-)

Off to class...

Yay for no sleep. I was up all night last night finishing my project for Randy; it's really cool. I'm gonna put it in my portfolio.

Just one more class and I can go home and sleep.

Song of the Day: Orgy - "Platinum" (because it was in my project and I listened to it all...night...long...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Been so busy lately, hadn't have much time to write.

But things are slowing down now, so I'm starting to get caught up. I got a lot of my D1 work done that I've been neglecting in the last month...almost all of it is done now, including the Celldweller interview. Klayton is really nice, and I got a really cool email from him today. Can't really say what it is, but if what he's going for goes through, it will be cool indeed...and partially because of me?

Yay for the industry.

My directing scene first showing went really well. I hope I get a good grade. I'm feeling a little more confident about this class now.

Me and Heather are going thrift store shopping this afternoon, and I'm working on my Halloween costume. Hopefully, I'll be heading to Cullen's and Lee's party as a Slytherin student. Hehe...yes...still digging Harry Potter. Need to go get the next book...

I also updated my friends' blogs listing...changed the names to reflect the current titles, and added Cathy's blog too. :-) Everyone should get a blog. They're great.

Ahh...so much...

The show opens tonight, so everyone come and see it this week or next. I'm proud. :-)

But in other news, my grandfather died last night, so I'm outta town this weekend if anyone is looking for me. I should be back at Tech Tuesday.

Not much else going on...still talking a lot to Steve...it's great. He calls me at least once a day, if not twice. He's a sweetie.

This week, I also got sucked into the Harry Potter books. Really good! Almost finished the second, and I've got the third one already, waiting by. Hehe...I'm a freak, but it's great.

Eh...I'm out.

So much going on...so little time...

But I'm happy to say that this week should be the end of all of the major stuff...show opens Thursday, and I'll be done with midterms Wednesday. I just need to keep it going for the next few days and get it done.

Steve got his cell phone back, so he's been calling quite often...it's great. :-) I can't wait to see him in a few weeks.

So I've got my first directing rehearsal here in an hour. Should be fun. I'm kinda nervous, but it should be fine.

Meh...off to studying...

Fun times. I've been spending most of my time today working on some stuff for the SETC program. Better get back to that soon.

So it does look like I'll be able to drive up to DC at the end of the month and pick up Steve for 4 days that he has off. That will be really great. I'm glad things are working out with us.

Still trying to maintain some sense of order with my friends that are suffering. It's just one of those weeks.

Drama...my major and my life.

Yesterday had to be the most emotionally exhausting day of my life. From one friend having her career destroyed, to another friend wanting to end his life...I feel so helpless. I still can't stop shaking.

Just turned on the TV and saw that Roy of Siegfried and Roy had been critically injured during the show. Some people forget how dangerous this business can be. I remember sitting with Johnnie years ago watching Kevin and Cindy Spencer record their TV special, and seeing just how dangerous it really can be. It's amazing what we do for entertainment.

Talked to Steve this week...he's doing really well. I might be seeing him when he comes into DC at the end of the month. We'll see how that goes.

I'm very tired. I'm going back to sleep.

Song of the Day (for Jeremiah): Jars of Clay - "Much Afraid"
Empty again
Sunken down so far
So scared to fall
I might not get up again
So I lay at your feet
All my brokenness
I carry all of my burdens to you
All of these things
I've held up in vain
No reason nor rhyme
Just the scars that remain
Of all of these things
I'm so much afraid
Scared out of my mind
By the demons I've made
Sweet Jesus, you never ever let me go
Oh, sweet Jesus, never ever let me go

Not much going on...been really tired lately, and I can't seem to get everything done. I keep trying to cut back on what I'm doing, but it's not enough. I'm so tired of school...and Virginia...

Haven't heard from Steve in almost a week.
