I didn't think it was possible, but yes, I have gotten the flu again. Dammit. I feel terrible.

And I can't find my Lance. Been looking for him all day. That makes me sad. :-(

So I got my first traffic ticket yesterday. Yay.

Other than that, just trying to get caught up on work. It's really nice out, even though it's cloudy. I wish weekends were longer, lol.

Things are going well the websites. I think it's safe to say more at this point, lol. The first website is going to be for Dead Sexy. Very good music. You guys should listen if you haven't already. The second is going well...hopefully I'll be able to say more about that soon too. :-) I also got a CD in the mail from a band that posts over on TBM's site. Very interesting stuff. Haven't listened to the whole thing yet, but it's a really unique sound. I like it.

Other than that, not much else going on. 51 Peg is opening for the Jaxx show, so this should be fun. :-) Still working on that website, and just emailed another cool band that I think could use some help. I'll have a good little portfolio here soon. :-)

So the fever is pretty much gone, and no more sick stomack...but I still feel like I'm dragging a Mac truck around behind me. Moral of the story: get the flu shot. I hope I never feel this sick ever again. So as you can see, I've dragged myself back to class. I've got so much work to make up.

In other news, I'm going to be the intelligent lighting programmer for the last mainstage. Since the other shows didn't work out, this is one more good thing to do before I graduate. Things are looking up though...Lance has a good friend working as a tour manager who thinks he might be able to help me get a job with a fairly large lighting company, so I'm hoping that might lead to something. Although I can only take a job with the understanding that I won't leave Virginia, rotflmao. *snuggles*

Still working on some other music stuff. The website for that other band I'm working on is almost completed...I think these guys will be a lot of fun to work with, if it all pans out. :-) Fluffy's been busy booking more shows in her area...wish I lived closer.

I'm realizing that the Orgy shows are getting closer. Yay! Me and Lance are heading down to the Atlanta show on May 3rd, for reasons that should be obvious. Then hopefully me, Nad, and Corrie might hit up the Cleveland show (as an after graduation present, lol). A lot of people are gonna be at that one...other interns, and Grace & Teresa...it'll be so great to meet these people finally. I'm not sure which other shows we might go to...have to see what's around as things get closer.

We went to the observatory last night. Freezing cold, but our astrometry was a huge success! We finished very quickly, so we spent some extra time (2 hours, lol) imaging loads of other things, mainly Messier objects and a few NGC galaxies of note. It was fabulous. I can't wait until we do our little "camping trip" up there in our search for new astroids. :-) Very cool class...I highly recommend it.

So last night we DID have to go to the observatory, but it took a whole HOUR to align the new focuser, and we were about half way through our project when the clouds moved back in (obviously...hello, radar?) so all our work was for nothing. To top it off, my "requires maintenance" light went off, so now I have to see if there's something wrong with my car.

To end, tonight it's supposed snow, so Lance probably won't be able to come visit. *sniffles* I'm so attached it hurts.

Well, had some fun in Richmond this past weekend. My dad had a meeting up there, so we went, too. Sat in on the senate for a bit, then went shopping; I found this really awesome coat...so that should mean we'll have warm weather from now on so that I can't wear it, lol. Yes, thank me. Tried Younge's Double Chocolate Stout while I was there, and I highly recommend it.

Saw Lance yesterday. He's so great. I just wish we lived closer together, lol. That's one long drive. Speaking of boys, Steve called again over the weekend, and I told him I'd call him back, but he hung up on me again, so I'm not really sure if I will or not. I mean, I'd like to have some sort of good closure if possible, but I'm not sure if that's an atainable goal at this point. *rolls eyes*

But on an unfortunate note, it looks like the big break I thought I might be getting is not going to pass. So back on the job hunt I go. I'm thinking TRE might not be such a bad job this summer, lol. So I guess we'll see... I went ahead and emailed a manager/ld that was recommended to me by another band I talk to, and he's getting ready to go out in October, so maybe there's an opportunity there. Meh.

So I dunno...I guess that's the life I lead.

Lot's of cool stuff happened since my little blurb last night. The interview is almost done; I'm supposed to call him back this morning and do a little editing, and then I'll pop it up on the site this afternoon hopefully. Also, I heard back from the band I've been talking to, and it looks like I will be helping with the new site for them. Very cool. And...Lance and Thorn have decided to go ahead and release the 3rd Redrum CD (hopefully using my album cover) sometime soon. Can't wait to get that. So yeah, loads of stuff.

It's so nice outside...drove around playing PSP really loud, and then decided to go treat myself after I dropped my rent check off, and went to the mall (Victoria's Secret & Bath and Body Works in particular). *winks at Lance* LOL Currently, my favorite track of PSP is "Make Up Your Mind". Really, really good song. I think either that one or "Pure" should be the next single. I love this CD!

I did a little design the other day for Redrum's CD cover, and Lance said Thorn liked it. That's pretty cool. Maybe I can do something for that. :-) "...my space ship is parked right outsiiiiiiiiiiiide..." So I think I'll play around with that stuff some more tonight, and see what I can come up with.

I'm also busy tracking Fluffy's Sampler on Sounclick...Excel file and everything, lol. I figured it might prove useful. But in any case, if you're reading this, open up a new window and go stream it while you finish parusing this post, lol. (BTW, me and Nad's song (Purgatory Remix) actually made it on the charts, too. WTF? We're at #183 on the Alternative General chart. How cool is that? Me and him need to get together and play around some more.)
