I had the most phenomenal baked potatoe at work. Get this: completely plain. Just a damn good potatoe with no butter, salt, sour cream, nothing. It was a very wierd thing.
I saw this on Corrie's blog and was intrigued. I never knew Corrie worked at an archeaology dig. So did I. How did we not ever know this about each other? Anyways, here's a listing of all the places I've ever worked, volunteer or otherwise:
Summer Girl Scout Camp Counselor
Volunteer Archeaologist @ Poplar Forest
Stage Crew @ Lynchburg Civic Auditorium
Decorative Painter - Artisan of Blacksburg, and self-employed
Lifegaurd @ Assistant Swim Coach @ OLN Roanoke
Lighting & Set Technician @ VT Summer Arts Festival
Record label intern
Webdesign, self-employed
Props Assistant & Scenic Artist @ UFO Utah
Tech Specialist @ HRCC
Crazy. Nice to know I've never had to flip burgers, though...
So tomorrow is going to rock. Me and Jacob are gonna go get the pics done finally, then while he's hosting the coolest radio show ever, I'm gonna be helping Nad (hopefully) get some web stuff done, and maybe by tomorrow I'll be ready to Linux-ize my old computer. Then tomorrow evening it's dinner with the band, and then the show. My goal is to sell every piece of merch we own. This show is going to rock. Tripleside is going full band - they've got a new drummer that kicks ass, and our friend Jeff is filling in on bass. Rehearsals are sounding sooooooo good. But in other news, we need a practice space now since the neighbors don't seem to appreciate this as much as I do, so if anyone has any leads to someplace cheap, or better yet, a kind soul gracious to the enabling of the arts for free, lemme know.
Then Wednesday should be fun. I just ran into the one dude at work that I had made plans to hang out with, and we're gonna go get a beer after work. So maybe finally I'll start making some new friends here were I freakin' live...
*sigh* Back to work...
