I had a post the other day I wrote in my delerium that I never got to publish due to either Blogger being down or me being away from the internet, but here are some thoughts to chew on that I just couldn't let go unposted:
1) While I consider Jimi Haha to be a lyrical genius, you know he's just asking for Wierd Al to do a cover of a song with the lyrics "It's hard to keep from falling out." in it.
2) As I was driving home Monday it occured to me that that was the first time in what, four or five days that I had seen the light of day.
Anyways, I got my hands on the new William Shatner album, and wow. If you need a good laugh, this is the cd for you. With songs similiar to "I'm An Asshole" and "Cows With Guns", you just can't go wrong. He spends about half of the album making fun of himself - the title is "Has Been", and the song by the same name is just rediculous. And anyone who experiences road rage or generic disgust over dumb things/people will appreciate the following song...because, well, "I just can't get behind that!" But some of the other songs are more personal, and I know I for one, in the midst of questioning my career goals, found some ironic inspiration in hearing someone I know so well in the entertainment industry speak about failure and insecurity. Anyways.
I did get the weekend off, so that means I'm going home with Jacob to meet the family for his grandma's birthday. We'll also be hitting the 51 Peg / Celldweller show, so I'm going to email Klayton and tell him I'm coming. Derek says he's gonna try coming too, so there's the whole Fluffy Starr webteam in full effect. Hehe...I wonder if he does "Frozen" if I can sing Fluffy's part? He's probably got that in a bed track already, but it's fun to think about, lol.
Updated RAM last night. Fluffy's interview is up, and updated the links & dates sections.
Chris comes back to work tomorrow, so I'll guess we'll see how this goes...

*befuddled look* Ok, listen to this one.... I went to The Royal's site to find out directions etc, and all that stuff. I was looking at the band lineup, and I think this show on Saturday is going to be crazier than we expected... the second band on the bill (under 51 Peg) is .... SNMNMNM.
Yeah, uh, they're playing Attitudes on friday. Like, tomorrow friday.
Yeah, and they're a band with tuba, accordion, and they're kinda like They Might Be Giants.
Join me now...... WTF?!!?!
