So today has been a slack-happy day so far. I came in to set up for some piano recital at 1, and it's 4:15 and no one has shown up yet. So I'm gonna call B in a minute to see what he wants me to do, heh.

Bill came down for awhile and we chatted about sound stuff. Come to find out he's in a Blues band now, but has his own studio he's setting up and is looking to start a hard rock band like Tool and such. So I thought that was awesome, being that he's my boss's boss, and that perhaps that's another band to get a good scene going around here.

Then Rafe came down and we talked for awhile too about stuff, which is cool. We agreed that we're both happier here and not at the hotel, lol. It's good to see everyone so happy.

I'm feeling ok today. Was a bit shaken up this morning, but I'm doing better. Been talking to Mike a bit, and that helps, since I guess in some ways he knew Jacob better than I did.

Also, my big brother called me this morning and it was so good to hear his voice. He was at the airport on his way to Texas, then to Vegas to visit friends. He'll be back in a week or so then come and see me, so that's gonna be fun. I've missed him. We're also starting to make plans for a little vacation for me. For around $700 he can get me on a cruise with him for a week, so I'm gonna do that. Get to spend more time with him, plus go to the Bahamas for a few days. :-)
