Had a pretty decent day; B just had me work on cleaning up the office and organizing, then later I started building our new amp rack. It's pretty sweet - 6 feet tall and on castors. Good stuff. Horribly difficult to build - the instructions were in English, but like, written by someone who obviously didn't speak English. Like "bolt, left or right likescrew." Seriously, not a sentence, not even in subject-verb order, and missing spaces like that. The instruction manual was also not in chronological order. Very strange.

While I was working on the amp rack, Charly came in and just chilled out with me for awhile. He's one of those people that are real easy going and will just sit with anyone and talk. He worked on this last show and did a great job, so it was good to see him again. It was nice, too, to have someone there to keep me company, especially right now. He invited me to hang out and go to karaoke tonight, but I'm still pretty tired, so I'm gonna stay in. But it'd be cool to hang out with them later on.

So far I'm doing pretty good with the whole social life thing I promised myself.

Got an email from Nick today, too; maybe John ran into him and told him I was having a rough time right now, I dunno, but it was nice to hear from him, too. So I definately feel like I've got some good friends that can help pull me out of this funk right now.

Jacob finally wrote a bit about all this today too. It's hard to do, to put things in writing. But it's best for both of us, and I really hope that he can do the things he needs to do now that he doesn't need to worry about making me happy or whatever. I guess sometimes having a boy/girlfriend is helpful when you're making changes, but other times its better to be on your own and work through things. I just hope that he has a lot of friends too right now that can surround him the way mine seem to be. So, all our friends in B-burg, take care of my boy. :-)

I also have to say that I have never fully appreciated Otto's Daughter's last album, "Void Of Course" until now. I'm seriously going to send J money so she can get the next one out, because music is so important when you're going through tough times.

Edit: Forgot to mention, but it looks like I may have just scored another band website for some very awesome people. Would be a great addition to my portfolio, and these guys are awesome and deserve it. So I'll write more about that when it's finalized. Also, it looks like my radio interview will be sometime next week, so I'll post when you can listen online to people ask me about my cool website.
