Had a surprisingly good day at work. I ended up not having to do any sound set up for the rap group that was performing today, so B basically told me to just work on whatever I needed to and just be around in case I was needed. In the end (he was having a bit of a bad day) he came down to my office and we ended up watching Star Trek for most of the day, hahaha! We talked about a lot of things coming up, he showed me some new equipment we're going to be installing, and started working on areas of improvement for me. It was really good. Plus since today was the SGA elections we scored free lunches.

The new electronic classrooms we're setting up are going to be incredible. We're basically creating movable podiums that contain all the equipment you could need - computer, VCR/DVD, document camera, sound, etc. - and you just plug in and go. But the really cool thing is the switch - it's got software that reminds me of what you might see with a wireless router. So in the same way you might go to a webpage dedicated to your router, you can access a page through the entire school network devoted to each switch. So, theoretically, I can be sitting in the office and get a call from a teacher on the other side of campus, who says they can't figure out how to switch the imput on their projector, and I can go online and tell that switch to change imputs from my office. Rock.

I got hit on at work today again. Do I have a sign that says "Newly Dumped and Desperate" on me? Heh.

I got an email today from a girl that's interested in helping out with RAM, so that'd be cool if it works out. Good times.
