Two things happened tonight:
1.) Bourbon is my new favorite booze.
2.) Looks like Alienhead is officially a full band.
Rock.
So yeah, I brought John out with me tonight and he did pretty well, for me just getting the tabs to him on Sunday. He picked up damn quick on the things he hadn't learned and seem to fit really well in the group. So as long as it goes well the next few times, then we'll be off on our way.
It was funny, because Derek's a bit stressed with some situations he's in right now, se he was rocking a flask with some bourbon, and once I got my hands on that it was difficult to get them off. It was like, Bacardi Superior but 5 times better. Made me sing pretty damn good, too. Haha, fun times.
I can't wait to play live.
Afterwards me and John went to Macados and had a few drinks and talked over the whole band thing, so I think this is gonna work out really well. Then all of us are gonna hit up Awful's on Saturday and shoot some pool and chill. Good times.
I feel better now having had a few drinks and getting a lot of frustration out of my system tonight. But I think it's gonna be a week or two before I'm really back to normal. There are good days like yesterday, and there are bad days like today. I'll get over it.
I got an email back from J and it looks like the website is a go now. Should be up next week. *crosses fingers* Her music rocks.
