Been a good weekend! Friday night I talked to my rockstar crush for awhile, which was awesome as usual. He just makes me feel at ease. *cuteness*
Last night was the show at Midnight, and that went really well. First of all, Derek made it down as planned, so it was really cool meeting him finally. He chilled with me during the evening while I was at my booth, so we talked for awhile, and he's doing a lot of really cool things with music and such now. So I hope that really works out for him, too.
The funny thing is, Derek really knows how to work it. There was this other guy there last night who was drunk as a skunk and trying sooooo hard to pick me up. And somehow Derek manipulated the situation to coerce this guy into buying HIM a drink everytime he bought me one. Crazy good times!
The band was great, and it was nice to chat to Christina again. I also met a few more industry people last night, which is always good. I also found out that I may have another HUGE opportunity coming up...basically I've been asked if I want to take over another one of the goth clubs in the area. So I'm gonna sit down with those guys and go over everything and see if it's something I can handle. If so...well...damn...
Got yet another A/V job opportunity that came out of the blue this week. So far, they love me and it looks like a good deal, so I may go ahead and go back to work fulltime and reap the money and benefits of that, so that I can focus more on music in my free time without having to worry about finances. So we'll see how that all works out.

OOOOOOh! if you get to manage el club can i be that annoying mooch friend? or even better *mike fantasizes about getting his bartender licence and happily going to work hard for his buddy and new boss with teh pink hair*
